Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards.
  • Have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
  • Possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings.
Job Responsibilities
  • Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Training
  • Orientation and training provided on the job.
  • Develop communication skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions & Skills
  • Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly (may use a calculator).
  • Make correct monetary change.
  • Strong verbal, written, and telephone skills for order processing.
  • Motor coordination between eyes, hands, and fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
  • Use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
  • Detailed navigational skills to locate addresses and navigate adverse terrain during delivery.
  • Carry product while driving and delivering.
Work Conditions
  • Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product, driving, and performing other outside tasks.
  • In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F in the cooler to over 90°F in some work areas.
  • Sudden changes in temperature in the work area and while outside.
  • Exposure to fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust.
  • Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
  • Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
  • Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Physical Requirements
  • Effective hearing on telephone and near/mid-range vision for most in‑store tasks.
  • Depth perception.
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
  • Far vision and night vision for driving.
  • Stand and walk for long periods.
  • Walk short distances for short durations and travel between store and delivery vehicle.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds (cases of ingredients and supplies).
  • Carry up to 30 pounds items (e.g., pizza sauce) and stacks of trays.
  • Push and pull trays on dollies.
  • Climb stairs or ladder infrequently; navigate five or more flights of stairs may be required during delivery.
  • Sto­op, bend, and crouch/squat at various tasks.
  • Perform fine hand tasks such as shaping dough, handling pizza peel, rolling cutter, assembling cardboard pizza boxes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
  • Willingness to take a criminal background check if required.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Minimum 6 months experience as a shift supervisor or team lead in the restaurant industry.
