As the Facility Manager at Fat Cats, you'll ensure that our center operates smoothly and safely by overseeing building maintenance, repairs, and preventative care. You'll be responsible for the upkeep of everything from bowling pinsetter machines to HVAC systems while leading and developing a small team of mechanics and pin chasers. Your day will revolve around ensuring the safety, functionality, and maintenance of the entire Fat Cats facility. From troubleshooting pinsetter machines to coordinating repairs and leading your team of mechanics, no two days will be the same. You'll also play a key role in maintaining industry safety standards and communicating with leadership to address issues and implement solutions.
- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are always followed by team members.
- Oversee maintenance of the bowling alley, including troubleshooting and repairing pinsetter machines, scoring equipment, lanes, ball returns, and lane machines.
- Manage preventative maintenance schedules and perform equipment replacements when needed.
- Maintain and repair building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and industrial kitchen equipment.
- Keep the mechanic shop and storage areas clean, safe, and organized.
- Guide, support, and inspire your team of mechanics, helping them grow their skills while keeping schedules running smoothly.
- Communicate regularly with the General Manager and Corporate Facilities Manager to share performance reports, maintenance updates, and suggestions.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance records, including MSDS documentation.
Qualifications
We are seeking a detail-oriented leader with a strong background in facility maintenance and team management. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in maintenance or a similar role, including two years of experience managing a team. A solid understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems is essential. Additionally, the candidate should possess excellent organizational, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
