Position: Electrical Battery Assembly Technician I, II, III

Overview

Hypercraft is looking for a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to assemble vehicle and hybrid/electric systems/components in a fast-paced and high performance environment. This position will be full time, with plenty of challenges and future growth opportunities.

EXPECTED

HOURS:

Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and/or assemble products using proper tools (such as pneumatic tools, reamer, drill, ratchet and sockets, impact wrench, etc)
  • Perform soldering, fusing, or welding operations with extreme attention to detail and according to industry standards
  • Work from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions
  • Learn and adhere to safety procedures at all times
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated reliable attendance
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work with other technicians
  • Ability to take initiative and at times work on multiple projects without supervision
  • Ability to make fast and accurate decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to participate in safety measures / training
  • Strong communication skills
For Battery Assembly Technician Level II
  • Experience with electronic systems and/or electric vehicle components
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
For Battery Assembly Technician Level III
  • Solid experience building and testing Lithium-ion Battery Packs or equally complex electrical assemblies
  • In-depth battery assembly knowledge
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with high-voltage or high-current systems (EV, industrial power, aerospace, marine, robotics)
  • Familiarity with torque specs, fastener standards, and controlled assembly processes
  • Use of multimeters, continuity testing, insulation resistance testing, or basic diagnostics
  • Candidates should be comfortable quickly learning and adapting to new systems and designs
