Quality Coordinator II - Document Control Specialist

Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Quality Coordinator (Document Control) at our warehouse manufacturing facility in Provo, Utah.

• Hourly Pay: $22.00 / hr+, depending on experience
• Schedule:
  
  Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Warehouse positions pay weekly

• Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes as it relates to specifications
• Assist in effectively inspecting product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance with specifications
• Perform timely checks to meet specifications
• Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
• Maintain qualification to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
• Ensure product quality to meet customer, state and federal guidelines
• Other duties as required or assigned

• 3 or more years of QA/Document Control experience in the food and/or dietary supplement industry
• Skilled using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Associate’s Degree preferred; high‑school diploma required
• Previous experience in a food grade facility
• Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
