Position Description
Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Quality Coordinator (Document Control) at our warehouse manufacturing facility in Provo, Utah.
Compensation and Schedule- Hourly Pay: $22.00 / hr+, depending on experience
- Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Warehouse positions pay weekly
- Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes as it relates to specifications
- Assist in effectively inspecting product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance with specifications
- Perform timely checks to meet specifications
- Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety
- Maintain qualification to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
- Ensure product quality to meet customer, state and federal guidelines
- Other duties as required or assigned
- 3 or more years of QA/Document Control experience in the food and/or dietary supplement industry
- Skilled using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Associate’s Degree preferred; high‑school diploma required
- Previous experience in a food grade facility
- Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
