Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
General Summary
The Accessory Technician tests, adjusts, troubleshoots, repairs and/or overhauls core aircraft accessory components to manufacturer specifications, customer expectations, and Duncan approved procedures in a clean and safe work environment, with assistance as needed. In addition, this position accurately prepares and completes appropriate documentation.
Essential Job FunctionsRespirator fit eligible
AttendanceRegularly scheduled attendance required
PhysicalRoutinely lifts 50 lbs., occasionally lifts 100 lbs.; reads small print; hearing sounds associated with mechanical deficiencies; repetitive motion; works with moving parts and vibration; tolerates products and materials associated with component maintenance; tolerates standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching and sitting
EnvironmentalTolerates working in noisy environments. Tolerates working with and around chemicals.
Education and Experience- Associates Degree in related field or equivalent preferred
- Minimum one year aviation component maintenance or related experience required
