The Flexographic Press Operator is an essential member of the team, responsible for the manufacturing of printed labels while continuously monitoring label quality and press conditions.

• Compensation: $22.00 hourly + $1.25 shift premium

• Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelines.
• Report all safety concerns or issues to immediate supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and area by completing daily housekeeping assignments.
• Complete make‑ready in accordance with the job ticket and product specification documents to ensure correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers are used.
• Complete all required quality checks related to product specifications, visual, and functional checks. Complete all press‑side quality checks.
• Operate press to produce product in accordance to customer specifications while maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiency.
• Maintain consistent quality during the production run. Critical quality checks include copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion. Ensure conformance to all other quality checks.
• Complete all related procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as outlined in the BRC standard.
• Complete press make‑ready’s in an efficient manner.
• Complete all required equipment maintenance duties.
• Clean plate, cylinder, and ink pans, and lubricate press as needed.
• Input all required information into Globe Tek system for material usage and time in an accurate and prompt manner.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year experience as a printing press operator or equivalent training is preferred.
• Physical demands: standing, using hands to feel and touch; reaching with arms and hands; talking and hearing; frequent walking; occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.
• Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
