Machine Operator

As a Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in maintaining shop and field machinery while ensuring that equipment is dispatched punctually to meet operational needs. Your primary focus will be on delivering reliable, safe, and efficient service to our clients, while actively seeking out ways to enhance our overall service delivery processes.

Compensation Details: The hourly rate is $19.26, plus a 15% shift differential, totaling $22.15 per hour.

Work Schedule: You will work the B shift, which runs from Monday through Wednesday, 4 PM to 4:30 AM, and qualifies for the 15% shift premium.

Key Duties and Functions:

• Verify that materials, components, and equipment meet all specifications by utilizing calibrated measurement tools to ensure consistent quality.
• Execute engineering and manufacturing evaluations in strict accordance with established protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Provide support during the design and configuration of testing fixtures and setups.
• Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by prioritizing safety during all testing and inspection tasks and contributing to hazard risk assessments.
• Calibrate measurement systems when you have received the necessary authorization.
• Review test plans and standard work instructions to offer suggestions that improve our operational efficiency.
• Record all inspection and testing data accurately while monitoring result stability over time.
• Support our commitment to excellence by utilizing manufacturing system tools to foster ongoing process improvements.

Required Skills and Background:

• Possession of a GED or high school diploma, or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
• Capacity to interpret and adhere to standardized work documentation.
• Proficiency in analyzing and comprehending technical engineering blueprints.
• Capability to solve fundamental mathematical and computational tasks.
• Help ensure precision by utilizing various measuring instruments for small components.
• Ability to configure, run, and conduct basic maintenance on machinery with guidance.
• Aptitude for maintaining precise logs and documentation of daily activities.
• Requirement to successfully pass both a medical examination and a background screening.
