Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Location: West Jordan, UT
Agency: United Health Care Staffing, Inc.
Pay: $68 to $75 per hour
Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Roles & Responsibilities- Provide high-quality peri-procedural nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology and neuro thrombectomy
- Collaborate with physicians, techs and the multi-disciplinary team to ensure smooth, efficient procedures and excellent patient outcomes
- Operate and monitor hemodynamic and imaging systems (Phillips imaging, Merge Hemodynamics/CPACS) during cases
- Document thoroughly and accurately in EPIC to support continuity of care and compliance
- Respond professionally and promptly to on‑call activations every other weekend and during scheduled evening coverage
- Participate in STEMI activations and rapid response workflows as part of an accredited STEMI center
- Educate patients and families about procedures, post‑procedure care and discharge instructions to promote recovery and safety
- Maintain sterile technique, patient safety standards and quality improvement practices in the cath lab
- Active RN license in Utah (or eligible to obtain)
- ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of cath lab / interventional nursing experience
- Comfortable with on‑call responsibilities, including every other weekend coverage and some evenings
- Experience with EPIC charting, Phillips imaging systems and Merge Hemodynamics/CPACS is highly desirable
- Able to complete a 12‑hour orientation and integrate into an acute care cath lab team
- BSN not required

- Hemodynamics monitoring and interpretation
- EPIC electronic charting proficiency
- Phillips imaging systems experience
- Merge Hemodynamics/CPACS familiarity
- STEMI center protocols and rapid activation processes
- Strong critical thinking, communication and team collaboration skills
- On‑call readiness and triage decision‑making
