NICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment

West Jordan, UT

$2400 Weekly

Night Shift | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM | EOW

Position Overview

Join a specialized NICU team providing critical care to newborns and premature infants
. This role is ideal for experienced NICU nurses who thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment and are passionate about neonatal care.

Job Details
  • Shift:
    12-hour Nights (6 PM – 6 AM)
  • Schedule:

    Every Other Weekend (EOW)
  • Contract Length:
    13 Weeks (extension possible)
  • Floating:
    May be required within scope
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to neonates in intensive care
  • Monitor and manage ventilators, CPAP, and incubators
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and TPN
  • Respond to neonatal emergencies and resuscitation
  • Collaborate with neonatologists and multidisciplinary teams
  • Educate and support families during NICU stay
  • Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
  • Follow strict infection control and safety protocols
Requirements
  • Active RN License (UT or Compact) – Required
  • BLS Certification – Required
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
  • STABLE Certification – Required
  • Minimum 1–2 years of NICU experience
Ideal Candidate
  • Strong clinical skills in neonatal intensive care
  • Comfortable handling high-risk newborn cases
  • Compassionate, detail-oriented, and team-focused
  • Able to work efficiently in a night shift environment
