About this role:As a Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP; nurse practitioner or physician assistant) at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. This is a hospital-based position that offers flexible support to a busy Neurosurgery group based at Utah Valley Hospital.
In this role you can anticipate:
- Practicing at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah
- PRN coverage to support 4 full-time, hospital-based APPs
- 12-hour shifts - 6:30a-6:30p, including weekends and holidays
- Emergency department and inpatient consults, inpatient rounding; inpatient work only
- No call requirement
- Minimum 3-shifts per quarter (if shifts are available)
An ideal candidate for this role will have prior APP Neurosurgery experience, or experience working inpatient and/or in the OR as an APP.

What you'll bring:
- APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- BLS certification and DEA
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
