RN Nurse
St. George Endoscopy Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a PRN basis. This position consists of 10-hour shifts, typically 4–8 shifts per month, with opportunities for additional shifts based on staffing needs.
We are a fast-paced endoscopy center known for our positive, supportive work environment. We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented nurse to complement our hardworking and dedicated staff.
Responsibilities primarily focus on pre-operative and post-operative patient care and include:
- Preparing and assessing patients before procedures
- Providing safe and compassionate care during recovery
- Monitoring patients following sedation
- Providing discharge education and instructions
- Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Working cooperatively with patients, physicians, and other staff members
- Participating in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities
- Assisting with other responsibilities that contribute to the safe and effective operation of the center
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Utah Registered Nurse license
- Acute care nursing knowledge and clinical proficiency
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
