As a Nurse Practitioner with the Student Health Center, you’ll play a vital role in helping students feel their best so they can fully embrace the college experience. You’ll assess patient needs, provide compassionate and comprehensive care, develop and evaluate treatment plans, and empower students with the knowledge and tools they need to thrive physically and emotionally.

Please note:

This position may be established at 17.5, 28, or 40 hours per week, depending on the employment agreement established at the time of hire.

What you’ll do in this position:

Provide medical evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment in both a clinic and ambulatory setting; provide answers to questions over telephone.

Document all findings, consultation, treatment, and diagnoses; review documentation for accuracy.

Keep abreast of new developments in medicine.

Advanced Functions:

Perform IUD insertion and removal.

Perform Nexplanon insertion and removal.

Perform surgical procedures, including Pilonidal Cyst removal, Lipoma excision, and Epidermoid cyst excision.
