Adjunct Researcher – Computer Science – Research Wingate Lab
Position start date:
August 3, 2026. End date:
July 20, 2026. The successful candidate must relocate to or reside in Utah for the duration of employment.
- Assist with research tasks related to benchmarking large language models (LLMs) in the area of faith and religion.
- Ideate, design, run, and analyze experiments.
- Construct visualizations and interpret results.
- Write publication‑quality papers to share key findings.
- Bachelor of Science required; degree must be completed by the start date.
- Experience with machine learning and large language models.
- Proficiency in Python, Git, plotting and visualization software, and AI coding tools.
- Understanding of statistics and statistical significance.
