Postal Assistant (PT) – Day's Market, Provo, UT
Postal Assistant (PT) job at Day's Market. We are looking for a PT Postal Assistant to help run our in‑store, contracted US Post Office.
Responsibilities- Assist postal customers with mailing packages, purchasing stamps, and providing shipping options and costs.
- Clean and maintain a clean work area.
- Fill and inventory supplies, and order additional supplies.
- Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
- Close and balance the cash drawer at the end of each day (approximately 30 minutes).
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours at a time and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Minimum age of 18 years or older.
- Part‑time availability: 15–20 hours per week.
- Available during postal operating hours: 10am‑7pm Monday–Friday, 10–3pm on Saturdays.
Competitive wages and a 5% employee discount. Day's Market is closed on Sundays.
