Loss Prevention Supervisor

The Loss Prevention Supervisor will oversee loss prevention staff while supporting the organization’s loss prevention procedures and efforts to safeguard company assets, prevent and minimize theft, and reduce shortages and fraud.

• Hires and trains loss prevention staff.
• Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of loss prevention staff.
• Assists with discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
• Develops and delivers loss prevention training program for employees.
• Oversees the installation of new security equipment such as security tags, mirrors, surveillance cameras, and electronic security devices.
• Audits and investigates sources of known losses.
• Monitors inventory to identify theft or shortages.
• Investigates suspicious customer and/or employee activity.
• Conducts periodic inspections of stores and facilities to ensure surveillance and security equipment is functioning properly.
• Prepares reports of effectiveness of established prevention measures.
• Researches, suggests, and implements additional security measures.
• Performs other duties as needed.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

• Some management experience preferred.

• Must be able to access all of the company’s properties to inspect security measures.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

The Pay Range For This Role Is 21 - 22 USD per hour (Provo Marriott)
