Physical Security Specialist - Midshift; Onsite; Provo, UT

Summary

Cobalt AI uses automation to elevate physical safety and security in the workplace. Our Cobalt Monitoring Intelligence platform combines AI-powered technology with trained human specialists to provide 24/7, human-verified monitoring of surveillance cameras, alarms, access control systems, and autonomous security robots across enterprise locations.

This is an onsite operations role and is not an engineering position.

Midshift 4:00PM - 12:30AM MT

Remote Site Monitoring

• Monitor live patrols performed by autonomous indoor security robots
• Oversee alarms, door activity, and camera feeds tied to access control systems
• Track system performance and elevate operational issues when needed

• Review and tag security events (audio, video, ACS) using internal tools
• Assess incidents and follow clear escalation protocols based on site-specific guidelines
• Communicate with clients via robot, phone, or text as needed

• Act as the first line of contact for clients during live events or interventions
• Maintain a calm, professional presence in fast-paced situations
• Log detailed reports and communicate with Engineering or Support when needed

Excellent communication and critical thinking skills Calm, focused decision-making under pressure A reliable, team-first attitude Experience with security, dispatch, monitoring, or customer service is a plus High attention to detail and comfort using on-screen tools and procedures
