Maintenance Mechanic - Salt Lake

Description

• Oversee the mechanical and electrical health of up to five assigned wash locations
• Perform all mechanical and electrical repairs
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical components
• Schedule projects and repairs
• Order necessary replacement parts and maintain spare parts inventory
• Address and repair emergency breakdowns in a timely manner
• Document future and past repairs using a CMMS program or spreadsheet
• Provide training to car wash team members on proper use of equipment to prevent downtime
• Adhere to company vehicle policies
• Adhere to all OSHA and Quick Quack safety standards

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 5+ years of industrial/commercial equipment repair and maintenance
• 5+ years of electrical troubleshooting and repair
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work on a ladder
• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and stand for extended periods of time
• Welding experience is a plus

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Ability to read electrical and/or mechanical schematics
• Ability to research information to find solutions
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to manage time and complete repairs within scheduled timelines
• Self‑starter and able to work independently or in a team environment
• Strong understanding of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) protocols

• 4‑week training program for new maintenance mechanics
