CAWS Specialty Welding is seeking an Estimator / Project Manager to support our specialty welding and field services projects. This role is responsible for developing accurate estimates and supporting projects from award through execution.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare cost estimates for specialty welding, repair, fabrication, and field services
- Review RFQs, drawings, and specifications to define scope and pricing
- Perform labor, material, and equipment takeoffs
- Support project planning, documentation, and execution
- Assist with change orders and project closeout
- Work closely with operations, field teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients
- Experience in estimating and/or project management of welding, fabrication, or industrial services or similar experience with an engineering company
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documents
- Strong understanding of welding processes and field execution
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with Primavera P6 of Microsoft Projects scheduling software
- Specialty welding or industrial field services experience
- Familiarity with ASME, AWS, or similar industry standards
