Warehouse Operations Manager – 1st Shift

• Oversee several important areas of supply chain operations
• Communicate with customers, vendors and team members to ensure customer commitments are met
• Demonstrate understanding of GXO’s quality policies and establish procedures for maintaining quality objectives
• Provide guidance to supervisors regarding personnel, quality and safety
• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff
• Recommend programs to improve operations
• Handle equipment and coordinate maintenance needs with the maintenance team
• Ensure records are maintained appropriately and reports are completed in a timely manner
• Adhere to and enforce safe work practices and ensure warehouse compliance with OSHA and other standards and regulations

• 4 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Experience with computerized scanner equipment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field (preferred)
• 4 years of managerial/supervisory experience (preferred)
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment (preferred)
• Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Process Improvement knowledge and experience (preferred)
• Experience in warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) (preferred)
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment by monitoring and enforcing safety procedures across all departments (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving techniques and statistical analysis skills (preferred)

Demonstrates expertise in supply chain operations, quality management, and safety compliance while effectively leading and developing teams. Proficient in utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Process Improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
