Role Overview :

The In-Process Quality Assurance Monitor at RAE Corporation plays a vital role in ensuring that the assembly of NAP equipment adheres to our strict quality procedures. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is committed to maintaining high standards of quality throughout the production process.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Review engineering equipment submittals before and during equipment assembly.

Ensure manufacturing instructions are followed.

Physically inspect equipment in production daily to ensure issues are addressed promptly.

Review submittals daily.

Assist various production departments as needed (e.g., panels, wiring, piping, top-out).Monitor all equipment assemblies in production (NAP equipment, condensing units, chillers, etc.).Participate in teams to improve the design and functionality of equipment (KATA and Continuous Improvement Initiatives).Collaborate with all departments to gather information and create in-process quality assurance policies and procedures.

Attend work as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or as specified by your manager.

Complete other tasks as directed by management.

Comply with government regulations, laws, company policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The employee must be able to understand directions from supervisors and managers and provide accurate information to all departments.

Experience:

At least 2 years in manufacturing.

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software. Self-motivated with effective oral and written communication skills. Mechanical and technical aptitude. Alertness and precision in working with tools. Basic computer and math skills. Knowledge of assembly and servicing of refrigeration and HVAC equipment. Ability to communicate diplomatically and positively across various levels of understanding (entry-level to engineering).Certificates, Licenses, or Training:
High School Diploma or better, Refrigeration certificationor degree preferred, and/or on-the-job training.

Interaction with Others:

The In-Process Quality Assurance Monitor reports to the Quality Supervisor and maintains constant communication with other departments, primarily in the final assembly area and engineering.

Cooperation with all employees in the organization is essential.

Working Environment:

Work is performed in an industrial production area for a manufacturer of refrigeration and HVACequipment. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in the work environment can be high, and there may be exposure to extreme temperatures in bothwinter and summer. The role may involve stress due to deadlines and product quality standards, withseasonal variations in hours worked based on production demands.
