Get to Know Your Team:
  • Hillcrest Hospital Pryor is a 48-bed acute care hospital that provides a range of health care services to the community, including emergency services, urology, ENT, gastroenterology, cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery and wound care.
  • Individuals within this job classification are accountable for providing nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed independent practitioner.
  • The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned Clinic.
  • This individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to collect data reflective of the patient's status.
  • The LPN is to participate in the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with the Clinic standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and high-quality patient care.
  • He/she is expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.
Job Requirements:

BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
