We are seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team in Pryor, OK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Operate cash registers, handle cash, credit, and check transactions with customers.
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
- Process returns and exchanges according to company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide a positive shopping experience.
- Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Proficient in cashier operations and handling transactions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle returns and exchanges professionally.
- Basic math skills and ability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
