CB Partners is partnering with a growing organization seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join its accounting and finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional with a strong foundation in financial reporting, technical accounting, and compliance to take on a highly visible role within the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial statement preparation, and reporting requirements. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting while partnering with leadership, auditors, and cross-functional teams to support strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Support external and regulatory reporting requirements, including preparation of supporting schedules and disclosures
  • Manage financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
  • Participate in month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis
  • Assist with consolidation activities and intercompany accounting processes
  • Research technical accounting matters and provide recommendations on complex transactions and new accounting standards
  • Prepare technical accounting memorandums and supporting documentation
  • Partner with internal and external auditors to support audit requests and compliance activities
  • Support internal controls and SOX compliance initiatives
  • Monitor emerging accounting guidance and assess the impact of new accounting standards
  • Drive process improvement and automation efforts to enhance reporting efficiency and effectiveness
  • Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA required
  • 5+ years of accounting, audit, financial reporting, or related experience
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Public company and SEC reporting experience preferred
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements
  • Experience working with internal and external auditors
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Must be located in Colorado
