Senior Business Functional Consultant, Transformation

• Lead moderately complex business process design and integration efforts across transformation or major project initiatives
• Engage cross-functional partners and assess upstream/downstream impacts
• Translate business needs into actionable future state recommendations
• Ensure functional alignment and facilitate communication across teams
• Drive readiness activities promoting sustainable adoption and operational continuity
• Support technical aspects of energy efficiency and demand response, including capabilities to quantify financial and grid impacts, or support product management aspects of products and services
• Serve as a trusted advisor for business functional teams
• Lead business process design, requirements mapping, operational planning and functional impact assessments
• Identify, assess and communicate operational impacts of proposed changes; escalation and resolve risks or misalignments
• Lead business functional testing cycles and partner with training teams on content design and user adoption strategies
• Collaborate across business functional areas to ensure end-to-end process continuity and alignment with customer experience outcomes
• Analyze pain points and synthesize insights into actionable recommendations
• Define functional performance metrics, reporting needs and post-implementation success criteria

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field; or equivalent combination of training and relevant experience
• Strong understanding of utility processes and performance drivers
• Excellent communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• 5+ years in operations, business process improvement or service delivery
• Preferred: 5+ years supporting utility DSM, energy efficiency, demand response, electrification, clean transportation, renewable energy, or distributed energy resource programs
• Preferred:
  Experience translating complex technical requirements into business processes, system requirements, and technology solutions
• Preferred:
  Familiarity with utility regulatory, compliance, and performance incentive environments

Demonstrates expertise in business process design, operational planning, and functional impact assessments, with a strong focus on utility processes and performance drivers. Capable of translating complex technical requirements into actionable business solutions while ensuring cross-functional alignment and communication.
