The Construction Inspector - ODP (Official Development Plan) Compliance Inspector position participates in the City’s development review process through the inspection of private improvements including landscaping, architecture, site work, site amenities and other improvements installed by private developers. This position focuses upon private site improvement construction and is responsible for administering surety collected for these improvements.
This position will interact with other staff primarily within the Community Services Department and across all departments to ensure contractor/developer compliance with City regulations, City Code and Official Development Plans. It works diplomatically with property owners to develop and maintain their private properties.
The full salary range for this position is stated above. The starting range of pay is dependent on qualifications and experience of each individual candidate.

- Schedule workload and maintain a well‑organized system for administering surety bonds and other pertinent documents
