Loader Operator

We are looking for a highly motivated Loader Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a great deal of physical and mental stamina and will be responsible for the safe operation of company or rental construction equipment.

• Maintain 3 points of contact on all pieces of equipment at all times
• Respond to signals and directions by other staff members and work in coordination with them
• Perform daily walk around checks and properly complete daily checklist
• Clean and maintain equipment
• Perform routine inspection on assigned equipment and report any needed repair to the supervisor
• Attend daily safety meetings with the crew
• Operate the equipment in adherence to safety policies, procedures, job site and/or traffic laws
• Report any safety violation to the Supervisor and/or Safety Director
• Report any incident to the Supervisor or safety team
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
• When not operating heavy equipment, must perform all other Laborer job description and duties

• Understanding of computerized controls and electronics
• Excellent hand, eye and foot coordination
• Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
• Must have physical strength and endurance
• Ability to lift heavy materials
• Comfort working in high‑stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations
• Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful

• Education:
  
  High school diploma/GED preferred
• Experience:
  
  2+ years operating a diverse range of heavy equipment preferred

Pay: $30+ per hour; based on experience

Job Type: Full-time, Nonexempt
