Qualifications Required- For candidates who have a current teaching license, are a retired teacher, or are applying to coach at the High School Level:
- Current Resume
- CHSAA Online Coaches Test (Current Year)
- NFHS Concussion Certificate (or an in‑person concussion course completion certificate)
- 1st Aid/CPR/AED Certification (Current)
- Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of hire
- For candidates who do not have a current teaching license:
- Current Resume
- CHSAA Online Coaches Test (Current Year)
- NFHS Concussion Certificate (or an in‑person concussion course completion certificate)
- 1st Aid/CPR/AED Certification (Current)
NOTE: For non‑teaching applicants, upon acceptance of any high school coaching vacancy, you will be required to register for a CHSAA one‑year coaching registration and/or permanent coaching registration. You will not be allowed to coach until registration requirements have been completed and verified.
PreferredPrevious coaching experience and/or successful participation in athletics at the high school or collegiate level
DesirablePrevious playing experience in the sport of Basketball.
