The successful new hire or rehired candidate will be responsible to complete and incur the fingerprinting and processing fee of $54.50 through an appropriate fingerprinting vendor and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, within 48 hours of offer acceptance.

SUMMARY:

This position will supplement on-site instruction in the areas of literacy, English language development and/or math. Assist with the identification process of at‑risk students and will assess students for English language, reading and/or math proficiencies. Maintain the necessary program documents for compliance with District guidelines.

• Supplement on-site instruction in the areas of literacy, English language development and/or math.
• Communicate with students' classroom teachers and other staff as appropriate, contacting District Resource Teachers and/or District Instructional Coaches for technical assistance.
• Maintain professional job ethics and practices, maintain confidentiality in all respects (conversations, records and legal issues).
• Compile and maintain records, documents and other data as mandated by District, State and Federal guidelines.
• Administer appropriate tests to assess students in the areas of language proficiency, literacy and/or math.
• Coordinate communication between home and school.
• Facilitate students' understanding of school culture: school norms, rules and behavior.
• Utilize web-based resources to gather data and/or obtain instructional tools/documents to communicate and support learning.
• Attend required training to enhance professional growth and awareness of program guidelines and instructional practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
