• Valid Special Education Teaching certification (or eligibility) required
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children in a special education setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Ability to manage a classroom with students of varying abilities, focusing on mild/moderate needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to partner with parents, colleagues, and administrators

• Develop and deliver differentiated lessons addressing individual learning goals
• Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture that respects and supports diverse learners
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers for student success
• Provide behavioral and academic interventions as needed
