Job Title

The major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Coordinates the storage, release, and conveyance of water through the Fryingpan-Arkansas Project (Fry-Ark) system through continuous and close coordination and interaction with internal and external customers.
  • Assist in a variety of operations at Fry-Ark facilities and Eastern Colorado Area Office projects to meet obligations, environmental requirements, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop water supply forecasts
  • Provide current information on policy, resource management, water regulations, and technical requirements to stakeholders.
  • Work on complex or controversial water issues whose solutions require a proven understanding of hydrology, engineering, water resource and reservoir management, and other applicable disciplines.
