Senior Financial Analyst position that prepares and reviews monthly financial data and submits analysis and findings to Senior Management across the organization. The role assists with closing the accounting records for multiple companies, makes accounting entries, and investigates and corrects accounting errors.
Senior analysts help prepare Executive Management and Board reporting, track key performance indicators, and report on key business initiatives and drivers. The role also provides ad‑hoc analysis to support operations teams and may be involved in buy‑side M&A, due diligence, integration and synergy reporting, the annual audit process, tax reporting, and managing company segment, divisional, and regional financial reporting.
The position requires cross‑functional collaboration with several departments to complete complex projects, evaluate and improve processes, and support other financial analysts. Senior Analysts may also supervise other associates on the team.

EDUCATION- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Preferred: Master’s Degree, CPA qualification or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Required: 3‑5 years accounting or finance experience.
- Required: Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills, keen attention to detail, strong Excel and interpersonal skills, be an effective communicator, work well under time constraints, and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism. Highly motivated self‑starter who initiates and drives projects toward completion. Able to handle multiple, complex priorities and balance the needs of each according to business impact and priority.
Ability to read and understand financial statements and financial metrics. Experience working with accounting ERP systems. - Preferred: High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information. Ability to work independently and experience working in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment. Experience in manufacturing industry highly preferred. Previous knowledge of data mining and performing SQL queries.
- Prepare financial statements and analysis, such as contract profitability, product sales, customer or sales rep sales. Meet with management to identify business information needs and determine appropriate sources of information to meet those needs.
- Oversee the month‑end close process, including researching any complex accounting issues, advising accounting of any adjustments required, and assisting with internal process reviews/implementation of necessary changes.
- Research complex inventory issues in the company’s accounting system.
- Provide guidance on resolutions to issues identified. Work cross‑functionally with customer service, plant operations, and sales teams to improve the financial and operational processes within the organization.
- Work in collaboration with entity and departmental managers and other staff to identify process improvement projects.
- Completes special projects upon request, assist less experienced analysts, and other duties may be assigned.
