Human Edge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week assignment in Pueblo, Colorado. This opportunity supports a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting focused on improving communication, cognition, and swallowing function to enhance patient quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore and maximize functional communication and safe swallowing

• Perform bedside and clinical swallowing evaluations and provide dysphagia management

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient-centered care plans

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy strategies and safety recommendations

• Accurately document patient progress, outcomes, and treatment plans in accordance with facility policies and payer guidelines

Requirements

• Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred

• BLS certification (AHA)

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
