Harris Technologies is seeking an experienced Specialist, Technical Support Engineer to join our team as a Wideband Watch Office (WBWO) Analyst. The WBWO provides oversight and monitoring of the Wideband SATCOM Operations and Management System Network (WSOMSNet) and engages the Wideband SATCOM Operations Centers (WSOCs) to maintain situational awareness of Wideband MILSATCOM’s space‑based assets and ground control infrastructure status. The WBWO Analyst must be proficient in the duties of the Transmission Controller position at the WSOCs and reports operational and maintenance issues to the Combined Space Operations Center (CSpOC).

Harris Lead to ensure 24/7/365 coverage.
- Provide Wideband support in execution of Consolidated‑Satellite Systems Expert (C‑SSE) duties using DOSS, CNPS, WRMS, and GTC3S to perform operational oversight, monitoring, and control.
- Monitor and maintain situational awareness of Wideband MILSATCOM space and ground systems, including satellite assets, ground control infrastructure, WSOC and RSSC activities, and the WSOMS network using Solar Winds.
- Review proposed satellite command plans, Control Change Queue actions in CNPS, and applicable 8‑Hour Reports to verify transmission link, terminal, and overall system performance, and document required plan changes.
- Verify transmission link performance for assigned satellites using WRMS; review daily DIMS reports and prior 24‑hour WRMS alarms to identify, assess, and track system status and anomalies.
- Provide troubleshooting and operational support to WSOCs, RSSCs, and SATCOM terminals by performing adjustments necessary to achieve established operating parameters and resolve anomalous transmission and payload conditions.
- Assist with primary troubleshooting and anomaly resolution for mission systems within WSOC shift operations, supporting continuous 24/7/365 coverage.
- Maintain current knowledge of Transmission Controller Operating Instructions contained in the Wideband Controllers Guide (WCG) and ensure actions are performed in accordance with established procedures and applicable guidance.
- Report operational and maintenance issues to CSpOC as required; complete and submit DORs and AARs in accordance with applicable guidance.
- Coordinate enterprise terminal ASIs and emergency outages with appropriate agencies to support mission continuity and operational responsiveness.
- Establish and maintain current cybersecurity configurations in compliance with DISA STIGs and IAVM Notices.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of Wideband MILSATCOM (WGS and/or DSCS) experience working as a planner, manager, and/or controller.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- DoD 8570.01‑M IAT Level 2 certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA Security, CND).
- Experience in the use of Information Technology (IT) tools.
- Ability to plan, implement, verify, and troubleshoot local and wide‑area enterprise networks.
- Experience in network troubleshooting skills (Cisco IOS, IP routing, EIGRP).
- Experience implementing patches, scanning, remediating findings, and auditing; working knowledge of RMF and cybersecurity requirements.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state is $63,000–$117,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3
