- Support the Head of Sustainability and Sustainability Team in developing and executing sustainability data products and sub-domain strategy
- Develop enterprise-wide climate and impact data products focused on client financed emissions and net zero transition analytics
- Develop internal client and portfolio data flows and dashboards for PCAF-aligned analysis and external reporting
- Support data strategies and execute data products focused on Scope 1 and 2 emissions measurement and management
- Explore data products supporting sustainable finance commercialization and Impact Finance products and strategies
- Gather business requirements and translate emerging business needs into scalable analytics
- Lead annual financed emissions analysis
- Deliver audit-ready net-zero and PCAF reporting for internal, external, and regulatory use
- Partner with the Enterprise Data Office, Credit Risk, Reputation & Strategic Risk, business teams, Impact Finance functions, client-facing teams, and enterprise partners
- Extract, merge, transform, analyze, and benchmark large raw datasets against industry standards
- Communicate quantitative insights to internal stakeholders and senior management through concise presentations
- Manage programs, track execution and progress, and engage internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, computer science, engineering, or applied mathematics, or equivalent work experience
- Six to eight years of relevant experience
- Advanced data science skills
- Exposure to climate and emissions measurement
- Prior corporate experience, preferably within a financial institution
- Experience gathering business requirements and writing complex queries
- Experience extracting, merging, and transforming large raw datasets
- Ability to benchmark results against established industry standards and resolve discrepancies across data sources
- Confidence in quantitative analysis and ability to communicate insights to senior management
- Experience with program management, execution, progress tracking, and internal and external stakeholder engagement
- Familiarity with greenhouse gas accounting frameworks and financed emissions methodologies across sectors and asset classes preferred
- Prior experience designing and implementing large-scale data strategies in large organizations
- Understanding of data integrity, risk, controls, and audit-ready data
- Knowledge of PCAF, ISSB, CDP, GRI, SBTi, Transition Plan Taskforce, California Climate Disclosure Act, and EU CSRD
- Practical experience implementing GHG Protocol and supporting sustainability reporting analytics, especially ISSB and PCAF
- Experience with climate-related data providers and sources
- Understanding of corporate finance, sustainable finance products, and carbon markets
- Strong data science and visualization skills
- Deep expertise in SAAS, SQL, Python, Excel, PowerBI, NLP/LLM models, data scraping, and generative AI applications
- Strong project management capabilities, including requirements gathering, stakeholder buy-in, influencing without authority, and timely execution
- Strong leadership, employee motivation, teamwork, interpersonal, management, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
- Significant independent decision-making ability
- Ability to identify risks, determine reasonable solutions, resolve conflicts, and make decisions under pressure
- Adaptability to a dynamic and evolving work environment
- Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Knowledge of management and employee development principles and practices
