Presales, Systems Engineer

• Support HPE Networking Account Managers, Channel Partners, and customers throughout the sales cycle
• Develop account strategy, qualify opportunities, and drive technical wins
• Lead discovery sessions to uncover business drivers, technical requirements, and modernization goals
• Conduct technical assessments and define solution approaches
• Design and architect end-to-end HPE Networking solutions across campus, branch, wireless, routing, SD-WAN, and security domains
• Recommend solutions aligned with customer business outcomes and modernization strategies
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and virtual engagements
• Support proposals, RFP/RFI responses, bills of materials, and solution documentation
• Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and specialists on complex opportunities
• Maintain expertise across HPE Networking portfolios, including Juniper and Aruba
• Stay current on AI-Ops, Zero Trust, NaaS, AI-driven networking, and campus fabric trends
• Analyze competitive technologies and articulate HPE differentiation
• Expand technical and industry expertise through certifications and professional development

• 3–5 years of experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or a customer-facing technical role
• Strong foundation in networking technologies, including campus, wireless, routing, and WAN
• Exposure to SD-WAN, SASE, or Zero Trust architectures
• Consultative customer engagement and discovery skills
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-relevant value
• Solution design and architecture experience
• Ability to collaborate with account managers, architects, and specialists
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced inside sales environment
• Strong presentation, storytelling, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• Industry certifications preferred:
  Aruba ACA / ACP, Juniper JNCIA, Cisco CCNA, Fortinet FCA/FCP, CWNA

Demonstrates expertise in HPE Networking solutions, including design and architecture across various domains such as campus, branch, and security. Proficient in consultative customer engagement, technical assessments, and delivering impactful presentations.
