Position

Summary

The Customer & Technical Support Specialist serves as a key link between customers, sales, and operations—providing exceptional service, product expertise, and technical support. This hybrid role supports both day-to-day customer needs and technical initiatives such as application testing, product qualification, and partner training.

Reports To:

Product Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries, provide product recommendations, and manage order requests.
  • Liaise between industrial sales, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth order flow and timely delivery.
  • Manage order entry, documentation, and reporting in ERP systems.
  • Assist with proactive outbound sales and customer follow-ups as required.
  • Provide technical printing and application support for current and developing products.
  • Support both the distribution network and Drytac business across Canada and the U.S.
  • Offer hands-on product training and technical support for customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Support and attend trade shows, partner events, and open houses.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of four years’ experience in customer service, sales support, or technical product support.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and ERP systems such as Microsoft Business Central. Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Hub Spot, Salesforce) is an asset.
  • Experience in the printable graphics or wide-format printing market preferred. Familiarity with large-format printing technologies (latex, UV, eco-solvent), ICC profiles, color management, or RIP software (Onyx, Caldera, etc.) is advantageous.
  • Strong customer relationship management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while remaining an active, collaborative team member.
  • Hands-on problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Occasional travel may be required for training sessions, trade shows, or partner events.
