As part of our expansion in the US, XNRGY is seeking a qualified Materials Analyst to join its team in Mesa, Arizona. This role will support the procurement, inventory, and supply chain logistics of materials required for the production of custom HVAC systems. This role requires close coordination with the production, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure that materials are available to meet production schedules while optimizing inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze inventory data and trends to optimize stock levels and ensure product availability while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Develop and maintain inventory forecasting models to support demand planning and procurement decisions.
  • Monitor and report on key inventory metrics including turnover rates, days on hand, stockout frequency, and excess inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory analysis to identify slow‑moving, obsolete, or excess stock and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Collaborate with procurement, sales, and production teams to align inventory strategies with business objectives and customer demand.
  • Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies, stockouts, and overstock situations to prevent recurrence.
  • Create and maintain automated reports and dashboards to provide visibility into inventory performance across all product lines.
  • Support cycle counting programs and physical inventory processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Analyze supplier performance metrics and lead time variability to improve inventory planning accuracy.
  • Participate in cross‑functional projects to implement inventory optimization initiatives and process improvements.
  • Evaluate and recommend inventory management best practices and system enhancements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, statistics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory analysis, demand planning, or supply chain analytics roles, preferably within the HVAC or manufacturing industry.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
  • SQL knowledge preferred for database querying and data extraction.
  • Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (EPICOR is a plus) and inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in statistical analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Attention to detail with ability to work with large datasets and identify data trends and anomalies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
