Global Demand Planning Lead

The Global Demand Planning Lead enables the Regional Demand Planning process, ensuring alignment between Regional Supply Chain and Global Supply Planning teams, Finance and Commercial Teams. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Demand Planning, the role oversees the integrated cross‑functional inputs into a single, aligned and executable demand plan whilst supporting executive decision‑making through structured trade‑off analysis. This role also coaches and develops the regional teams in Global Best Practices for Demand Planning.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Demand Planning Process Governance
  • Prepares and facilitates Demand Planning forums, starting with Country/Regional Demand Reviews, feeding into the S&OP Roll Up reviews.
  • Maintains Demand Planning governance, calendar, standards, and decision frameworks.
  • Ensures timely, high‑quality deliverables and executive materials in the form of summaries, pulling out key insights from the Demand Planning cycle.
  • Tracks and drives closure of executive decisions and actions.
Integration & Alignment
  • Ensures demand plans are transmitted correctly to Supply Planning as per agreed timeline.
  • Partners with Regional Demand Planning & Global Demand Planning Manager to ensure key demand assumptions, risks, and opportunities are reflected.
  • Aligns with Supply Planning, Operations, and Finance on constraints and trade‑offs – feeding back through S&OP process.
  • Coordinates scenario planning with Regional and supply planning.
Performance Management
  • Owns core Demand KPIs (forecast accuracy, forecast value add, bias), recommending specific targets and measuring performance at Regional/Country/Code levels.
  • Owns any Demand developments or enhancements in Gains and Power BI.
  • Supports root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Ensures data integrity across planning systems and reports.
  • Leads initiatives to improve Demand Planning maturity, analytics, and ways of working.
  • Supports process and system enhancements and standardization.
  • Coaches the Regional Demand Planners to ensure alignment to demand planning best practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering, or experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

Experience

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience.
  • Experience with S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or Integrated Business Planning.

Skills

  • Strong S&OP knowledge, advanced analytics, planning systems expertise, and executive communication skills.
  • Successful experience working proactively in a global environment developing strong linkages at many levels.
  • Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Target Pay Range: $ to $ - Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Target Bonus on Base: 10.0%
