The Phoenix Staffing is seeking an experienced
General Manager
to oversee two affordable housing communities totaling approximately
160 units
located just four miles apart in Pueblo, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader with affordable housing experience who excels in compliance, financial management, and team leadership.

• Oversee the daily operations of two affordable housing communities (approximately 160 total units)
• Lead, coach, and support a team that includes two Assistant Managers
• Ensure compliance with LIHTC and Project-Based Section 8 program requirements
• Monitor occupancy, resident retention, and overall property performance
• Prepare and manage property budgets, financial reporting, and expense control
• Conduct file audits and maintain accurate resident documentation
• Ensure all leasing, recertification, and compliance activities are completed accurately and on time
• Build positive relationships with residents, vendors, and ownership
• Coordinate maintenance priorities with the service team to maintain community standards
• Participate in occasional weekend responsibilities as business needs require

• Minimum3 years of Community Manager or General Manager experience
  in affordable housing
• Minimum3 years of experience with Project-Based Section 8 and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit)
• Strong knowledge of affordable housing compliance regulations
• Experience managing budgets, financial reports, and operating expenses
• Previous supervisory experience leading onsite teams
• Highly organized with excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
• Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office

• HCCP (Housing Credit Certified Professional)certification

• Monday through Friday
• Occasional weekends as needed

• Starting salary of$65,000 annually
