Support the safe operation and maintenance of Legacy Sites and Water Treatment Plant activities. In this role, you will contribute to Newmont’s commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence while developing valuable technical skills in a team‑focused environment.

• Follow safe work practices and actively support Newmont’s safety culture.
• Assist with pre‑task planning and risk assessments before work begins.
• Learn and apply environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Support Water Treatment Plant operations and maintenance activities.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational goals.
• Identify and communicate safety concerns or operational issues.
• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and process enhancements.

• Commitment to working safely and following established procedures.
• Willingness to learn operational, environmental, health, and safety practices.
• Ability to follow instructions, complete procedural tasks, and use practical judgment.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and desire for continuous improvement.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• Experience or education related to safety practices, operations, maintenance, or a related field is beneficial.

• Individual contributor role within Newmont’s Sustainability and Legacy Sites team.
• Base at our legacy site in Telluride, Colorado.
• Hands‑on operational and maintenance work supporting water treatment and site activities.
• Collaborative environment focused on safety, learning, and continuous improvement.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $68,800 – 86,000. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer will be based on job‑related education, training, and/or experience. Newmont will not seek information about salary history. Eligible for a discretionary annual bonus program.
