We are looking for a Rail Bender to join our operations in Pueblo, Colorado.

Purpose of Position

The Rail Bender is responsible to bend, curve and surface rail for production according to the print and specifications.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Bend, curve and surface rail for switch point stock rails and traffic using an hydraulic horizontal press
  • Minimal deburring of rail with hand grinder
  • Read and follow production schedule
  • Safely operate jib and overhead cranes
  • Able to work with little supervision
  • Heat rail with torches per work instructions
  • Adhere to Nortrak’s Safety, Quality and Environmental Procedures, Practices and Policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements (e.g. education, experience, skills and desired competencies)

  • High School graduate or GED preferred
  • Forklift and Crane certification preferred
