Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN for a night shift PACU position in a Level III trauma center, requiring a CO or compact license and at least two years of specialty experience.

• Position is in a hospital Phase 1 PACU unit of a Level III trauma center
• Night shift schedule:
  Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights, 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
• Serves post-anesthesia patients with multiple co-morbidities including cardiac, neurological, and spine cases
• Facility offers cardiovascular and cardiac services and has a separate cath lab
• Uses Epic for charting; EPIC experience preferred
• No on-call requirements
• Weekend shifts required based on unit needs
• Care for post-anesthesia patients recovering from a variety of procedures
• Work in a collaborative team within a Level III trauma environment
• Navy scrubs required
• No RTO allowed during March 14–21, May 8–11, or May 21–27, 2026
• Maximum of 10 days RTO may be approved if outside restricted dates
• Local candidates considered at the same bill rate if residing within 75 miles

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years PACU specialty experience
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA)
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
