Work Schedule: Full Time (80.00 hours per pay period, 2 weeks)
Shift: Days
Pay: $19.67 - $25.57 per hour (dependent on experience)
Employment Type: Onsite – no hybrid or remote option
SummaryAssists WOC nurses with wound care on inpatient units and collaborates with the inpatient wound care team to provide clinical support to bedside staff.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with WOC nurses and bedside staff to support local workflows, including prevention rounding and implementation of the HAPI bundle.
- Monitor wound progression and healing; perform simple wound care treatments; and elevate wound concerns to the WOC nurse team.
- Maintain wound care equipment and use technology to support HAPI prevention, wound identification, and healing.
- Create a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and families per hospital standards and execute appropriate emergency and patient safety procedures.
- Apply critical thinking, decisive judgment, and work with minimal supervision; operate in a fast‑paced environment and take appropriate action.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
