Shift: Nights
Pay: $18.40 - $27.60 per hour (dependent on experience)
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.
Provides emergent/urgent patient care under the direction of a physician, physician's assistant, and/or registered nurse.
Responsibilities- Performs technical procedures as delegated, including establishing IV access, collecting specimens, providing wound care, and transporting patients. May perform ECGs and vital statistics/telemetry monitoring.
- Assists physicians and nurses with performing medical procedures, including examinations, minor surgical interventions, orthopedic treatment, and resuscitation.
- Reports abnormal assessment findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to medical/nursing staff.
- Assists with patient flow and keeps patient rooms clean, stocked, and orderly.
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must work in a fast‑paced environment and take appropriate action.
- HS Diploma or GED.
- Current State Licensure as an EMT with IV certification or EMT‑I.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date. Card must be good through sixty days of hire.
