Shift: Day and Evening Rotation
Pay: $59.80 - $83.72 / hour, dependent on relevant experience.
This is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
- State licensure as a Pharmacist and any relevant life support certification and/or relevant licensure/certification as determined at position level.
- Provides top‑of‑scope pharmacy support utilizing evidence‑based protocols and best practices to promote safety at the point of care.
- Values and effectively partners with multidisciplinary teams to achieve care outcomes.
- Prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective and evidence‑based practice.
- Models proficiency through precepting and mentoring those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
- Welcomes new knowledge in a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment.
- Contributes proactively to solutions securing safety and quality at point of care.
- Ensures medications are prescribed, accurately dispensed, and administered according to best practices.
- Provides drug information and counseling to patients and caregivers regarding medication use, accurate dosage, potential side effects, and administration instructions.
- Stays current with updated medication formularies, new drug therapies, treatment protocols, and emerging medical research through continuous professional development and clinical education.
- Communicates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate collaborative care and ensure optimal outcomes.
