Responsibilities
Direct patient care following the nursing process in the perioperative, PACU, or operating room settings.
Utilize evidence‑based practices and support a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.
Preceptor and mentor new clinical staff, fostering professional growth and competency validation during orientation.
Participate in AORN and ABPANC core curriculum and certification standards as part of evidence‑based care models.
Minimum Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum 6 months OR nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
- Valid BLS or CPR card (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) with card in hand before start date; card must remain current for 60 days of hire.
