Role:
Registered Nurse (RN) providing direct patient care in a high-acuity acute care (Med Surg, Ortho/Neuro) unit.
Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to deliver top-level patient care.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and evidence-based practices.
- Mentor and precept new healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to maintaining a secure, safe, and high-quality clinical environment.
- Graduate from an accredited or approved nursing program (if less than 3 years' experience).
- Valid state RN licensure.
- 6 months of nursing experience.
- Current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
- Provide specialized acute care in moderate to high patient acuity units.
- Follow evidence-based care models supported by clinical educators.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and specialty training.
