Certified Nursing Assistant

University Park Care Center in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide hands-on support to residents in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. The CNA will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, and nutritional needs while monitoring and reporting changes in condition to nurses. You will support rehabilitation goals, ensure safety, maintain accurate documentation, and promote residents' dignity and comfort.

CNAs collaborate closely with nurses, therapists, residents, and families in a resident-centered, team-based environment with opportunities for clinical learning and growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe use of assistive devices
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs
• Measure and report vital signs and changes in condition to nursing staff
• Support rehabilitation and restorative care plans as directed by clinical team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care provided
• Promote residents' dignity, comfort, and privacy at all times
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team
• Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to improve care quality
