• Number of Staff float pool is about 80
• Type of staff:
• Day Shift RN and CNAs on most units
• Night Shift RNs and CNAs on most units
• Patient Ratios 1:5 days and nights varies between units
• Types of equipment - various
• EMR - Meditech
• Typical hiring profile
• Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
• Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
• Minimum 1-year current acute care PCU experience
• BLS, ACLS & NIH
• Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
• Prior Meditech experience
• Chemo Certification (would be able to schedule on our Oncology unit)
• List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
• Varies between units Large Cardiac Population what 2 Tele Floors and a PCU
• Floating to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units
• Best personality Fit:
• Flexibility and willingness to float
• Team player and compassion is a must
