Job Description and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Quality Systems Coordinator to join our team in Pueblo, Colorado. The role maintains the Quality Assurance System and includes duties such as:
- Recording and updating daily quality assurance and ISO
- Maintaining and disseminating claim information, customer and test report databases
- Scheduling and training records and job manuals
- Assisting with safety documentation and training logs
- Leading customer and certification audits for the mill
- Managing the SOPs, training workforce on changes
- Assisting with updating and improving the new cloud‑based Electronic Quality Management System (EQMS)
- Daily management and maintenance of the quality system (may require off‑hour or weekend work)
- Managing the calibration system, issuing and recording process deviations
- Reporting daily and monthly Quality Index information
- Communicating product quality improvements to the workforce
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience (Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office—Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including Quality Manual and Second‑Tier Procedure writing
- Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills
- Strong problem‑solving and proven decision‑making skills
- Initiative to identify areas, propose and initiate solutions
- Two years of Quality Assurance experience (preferred)
- Familiar with Quality Management systems (preferred)
- Certified Quality Auditor (preferred)
- Experience in ISO 9001/Quality Systems (preferred)
Annual salary range: $80,000 – $87,000.
